Trumpet - David Pugh

Trumpet player David graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2001. Whilst at the RWCMD, he studied with Andrew Stone-Fewings from the Royal Shakespeare Company (where David has performed a number of times). He has also recorded for S4C and more recently the National Geographic Channel.

As a soloist, David has performed the Hummel and Haydn trumpet concertos with the Oriflamme Ensemble as well as the Vivaldi Double Trumpet Concerto. 

He is now working towards some further solo recitals in 2014 as well as working on the promotion of Warwick Brass

David is a Teacher of Music at Kenilworth School in Warwickshire and is married to French Horn player Helen.

Trumpet - Tim Rushby

Tim is the newest member of Warwick Brass and he works for Birmingham Contemporary Music Group.

French Horn - Helen Pugh

Helen started playing the piano aged 5 and later took up the French Horn. She went to the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama to study horn and now works for the Warwickshire County Music Service working in schools in and around Warwick. She plays regularly with the Warwickshire Symphony Orchestra, Birmingham Symphonic Winds and she recently enjoyed playing Schumann's concerto for 4 horns and orchestra.

Helen also accompanies local choirs and performing for local music societies.

Trombone - Christina Roberts

After graduating with a degree in Performing Arts from De Montfort University, trombone player Christina now works as a Project Manager for a well known UK based insurance company. She also plays for several music groups based in the Coventry and Warwickshire area in her spare time.

Christina lives in Warwick with her husband and Jess the cat.

Tuba - Jason Cox
Jason has been playing the tuba since the age of 10. By 13 he was the Principal Tuba of the Coventry School of Music Brass Band (a local Championship Section Band).
After a short break whilst attending University, he returned to playing, but this time exploring the orchestral side of the tuba. He has since played for most of the best amateur orchestras in Warwickshire, including the Leamington Chamber Orchestra, Oriflamme Orchestra, Warwickshire Symphony Orchestra, North Warwickshire Chamber Orchestra and the Beauchamp Sinfonietta. He is also a regular member of Warwick Orchestral Winds.

Perhaps his proudest achievement so far came in 2010, by playing the Vaughan Williams Tuba Concerto with the Leamington Sinfonia.
